Scotchman’s Lag Rally – August 26, 1951

The Scotchman’s Lag Rally appears to have been the FCCA’s first economy run, held August 26, 1951.  Covering some 101 miles from Glendale to Wrightwood, the rally was held with the support of Mobil Oil (General Petroleum) Company.  These photos really capture the fun and adventure of participating in these early sports car club activities!
